Hollywood tie-ins to soft drink and fast food merchandising began here. This is the legendary commercial from 1977 that started it all. It features R2-D2, C-3PO, Darth Vader, Stormtroopers and other classic Star Wars creatures all vying for free Star Wars posters at Burger Chef. The posters were given away with the purchase of a large Coca-Cola product.
Update: October 14, 2006; This commercial is now available on You Tube!, so there's no more need to download unless you really want to!

"The Ghost of Grizzly Mountain"
As a general rule, I only post photographs of objects in my possession. In this case, I only have MP3 copies of the original recordings, part of the Monster Fun Record Funmeal series of premiums, so no pictures from me on these...you'll have to visit Tvindy who graciously emailed me "The Ghost of Grizzly Mountain" if you want to see an example of the bright colored, floppy plastic 33 1/3 RPM records they were ripped from. Tvindy posted "Cackleburger" and "Fangburger" on her site later with a hat tip to Donny. Thanks to you both for making these available.
