My Dad was the controller for Burger Chef from 1958 to 1966, when we moved to Florida. Did you know that the Burger Chef float in the 1966 Indy 500 parade won the Govenor's trophy? I was on the float and have a picture of it. The Thomas brothers loaned my Dad the money to buy a business here in Jacksonville, which he and my Mom had from 1967 to 1985. Carol
