Those were great! I remember those blue and white uniform the women wore. The guys wore a shirt made from the same material. Somewhere among my stuff, I have a nametag from around that time that uses the same lollipop that was used for the road sign then.
The store I worked at around that time had the salad and works bar set up the same way it was in the commercial. At first, people went crazy with it but then figured out a burger really didn't taste very good with too much lettuce and tomatoes on it. What I did occasionally see, though, was people making a salad from the lettuce, onions and tomatoes on the works bar in a drink cup! That way it didn't cost anything, if you didn't mind having Coke as a dressing!!
Burger Chef sounds like Tigger!!
