Locals awoke to a big surprise on Thursday, June 22 when they discovered their Hardee's in Edwardsville, IL had closed for good.  The store was originally built as a Burger Chef and had been operated as a Hardee's since the buy-out.  What will become of this location now?  Only time will tell....
