Overheard

The other day I was sitting near a couple of women.  One was trying to tell the other why their friend was recently admitted to the hospital.  But she couldn't quite remember the diagnosis:

"Was it cardiac arrest?"

"No, it was something more serious."

The only thing I can think of that is more serious than having your heart stop beating is decapitation.

Now that you mention it, decapitation would be worse than cardiac arrest. Much messier too.
