We're back in Texas after a quick 10-day family trip to Japan. The Acolyte didn't fuss much on the plane home which was nice. Now that we're back we're trying to catch up on work and overcome the jet lag. Pictures from the trip are developed, but they'll have to wait till later to share. For the time being, here's a shot of the Acolyte and me sharing some sake...
Glad you guys had a good time. And that picture is adorable, but you might want to take it down before some child welfare authorities see it. ;-)

Welcome home! Work snafus have left me email-less again, but I was able to log on briefly for the updates....such a handsome little man the Acolyte is becoming! Ms. Sara is well and adorable, grabbing, shaking and throwing toys with aplomb as well as emitting a joyful, ear-piercing squeal at regular intervals. Every single morning she welcomes Mutti with a glorious gummy grin that she keeps up all day...how did we ever get so lucky? This parenthood thing is a pretty great gig. I'll try to be in touch, maybe Sara will even screech over the phone at you.
