I wanted to thank those of you who have participated in Penance, the Bawdy Cloister's daily trivia challenge. If you haven't played yet, I'd love to have you on board.
Also with regard to trivia. I've submitted two quizzes of my own to the FunTrivia site and they were both accepted and placed online. However, they need to be played 12 times by 12 different players in order to be ranked for difficulty and placed in the general index. I don't remember Burger Chef ever making it to Australia. A measly 3 and 4 out of 10 for me.

That's actually not too bad. I know the topic is a little obscure, even for Americans. When I submitted Quiz #1, the editor was unsure of the appropriate subject category to place it in. After asking around she determined its proper place was under "Thematic Fun."

I got 2/10 and 4/10, and I guessed on every single question. I read Breakfast of Champions and got that one wrong. Until I started reading your blog last week, I don't remember every hearing about Burger Chef (must have skimmed that part of the book). Where'd you pull Truro, MA out of, BTW?

I was going to put Provincetown but didn't want to add to the rumors regarding Burger Chef and his sidekick, Jeff. So I put the next closest town.
With regard to Breakfast of Champions-- it's in there. In fact, when Kurt Vonnegut learned that I inducted his book into my collection he wrote me a postcard. You can see it in the Mailbag section of The Burger Chef Reliquary.
