Granite Street
I remember there being a Burger Chef in Westerly, RI on Granite St near the corner of John St. Burger Chef had the BEST Mushroom & Swiss Burger EVER!!! The sauce that they used was unbelievable. Then the restaurant turned into Hardee's. The taste changed a bit but was still a great burger. (I didn't know it was the same company until just now when I was searching for Hardee's and found Burger Chef).
Sadly, there are no Hardee's in Southern California but I was amazed to find out that my favorite restaurant out here (Carl's Jr) is owned by the same company. I have no clue why they don't serve the Mushroom & Swiss out here??? Anyway, all of you Burger Chef and Hardee's fans might just want to try Carl's Jr. (I even ate at one in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.)

It's a small world. The building that was the Burger Chef in Westerly, RI
at the corner of John St. and Granite is now a seafood restaurant for the past 11 years. I know because I own it. We do still serve a great double cheeseburger though we're known for our seafood.
