Burger Chef Locations

400 N. Main Street

I am not certain that the Chars was a Burger Chef or not. Located at 400 N Main St Lexington NC. Newer Burger Chefs seem similar to Burger Kings and some Hardees. The corner columns make me think Burger Chef

There was a Burger Chef. The building must have been replaced with the
building I sent you.

I visited "Chars" this building is a Burger Chef kite building that was remodeled into the later type building. The old angled beams are visible inside. They still grill the burgers but I could not see inside the kitchen. The burgers have close together grill marks on one side.  I need to check out the menu closely

Burger Chef is listed at this address in the 1970 directory, but by 1973 the building is listed as vacant.
