Parkville, MD

I used to work at Burger Chef back in the 60's. It was located in Parkville, MD. It turned into an Arthur Treacher's and now is an KFC or Popeye's. I really enjoyed working there with my boss Stu Levin. Thanks for letting me reminisce.

The building there now is not the Burger Chef building. The Arthur Treacher's was demolished and a KFC was built on the site.

Waldorf, MD

I was the manager of the Waldorf store for a while in the late 70's. It was a good store and we were just starting to get the volume up when the gas shortage hit. That really hurt us. I met some good people there, too.

West Hyattsville, MD

Ager Road & Hamilton Street

Probably my first taste of fast food burgers was at the Burger Chef in West Hyattsville, Md at the corner of Ager Road and Hamilton Street. Spent many a lunch hour hanging out there as a Northwestern HS student in the early 60's. Still remember the great tasting double cheeseburgers and fries.
