Art Dolan owned several stores in Jackson, MI. This picture, from the September 1977 issue of Scene, shows Dolan standing near his Burger Chef in Vandercook Lake:
The photo was just a teaser... a full-blown article and more photos appeared in the November 1977 issue. The article praises his new store's lavish interior. The Vandercook Lake Burger Chef opened on April 1, 1977:

Given the area, I think this may be a location that became Hardee's and is now Burger King. That would place it at 1245 E. McDevitt Ave. if I'm right.

MAYBE THIS USE TO BE A GOOD RESTAURANT. NOW DAYS THE COFFEE IS LIKE MUD RUNNING THRU YOUR UNDERWEAR. PLUS THEY QUIT SELLING CHILI, IT WAS PRETTY GOOD UNTIL SOME CORPORATION GENIUS SCREWED IT UP.
