A Burger Chef opened in Pittsfield on November 3, 1977.  I don't know which location it was, but it was operated by Charles Rice.

I seem to remember another one on Dalton Ave that became a seafood place by the early 80's.

East Street

There was a Burger Chef on East St in Pittsfield. Located just down the street from the High School, I spent many lunch periods there.

There was a Burger Chef on State rd. in North Adams that opened in the late 60's.Spent many a summer evening hanging with my friends in the parking lot late 70's

The State rd. "Chef" became a pizza hut in the 1980's and was raised in 02 to become, sadly a bank.
