Pensacola, FL
5702 N. 9th Avenue
The first Buger Chef in Pensacola opened in late 1967 or early 1968 at 5702 N 9th Avenue. By 1977 the location was appearing as 5902 N 9th Avenue (perhaps a street renumbering), but by 1980, it was gone.

1500 Barrancas Avenue
By February 1969, a second Burger Chef had opened in Pensacola at 1400 Barrancas Avenue, which according to an ad was owned by J. Leon Lee. By February of 1972, that location was being listed as 1500 Barrancas Avenue (possibly a street renumbering, or correction of an error), and by 1973 only the N 9th location remained. Below are pictures of 1500 Barrancas Avenue, now a fast-food seafood place known as Slip's of Pensacola (since 1979). It's good, too!
