149 E Capitol
The original Burger Chef in Jackson was at 149 E Capitol, which would be downtown. It first appears in the Jackson phone directory in 1968.

1760 Ellis Avenue S.

In April of 1975, a third location is listed at 1760 Ellis Av S. In May of 1978, only the Ellis Avenue location is listed, and it seems to have continued, until it disappeared from the directory in May of 1982.

Research yields more details. The original Burger Chef in Jackson was at 149 E Capitol, which would be downtown. It first appears in the Jackson phone directory in 1968. The second location appears first in April of 1970 at 4565 I-55 N. In April of 1975, a third location is listed at 1760 Ellis Av S. In May of 1978, only the Ellis Avenue location is listed, and it seems to have continued, until it disappeared from the directory in May of 1982.
