I started as the night manager of the Burger Chef in Crown Point, IN. A franchise store, John Barney had 6 or 7. He had them in Chesterton, Huntington, Columbia City, Fort Wayne, and North Manchester. He sold a couple to Hardee's, then turned them into Rax, then Miami Sub, and now Wendy's. First fast food restaurant to put bacon on a burger. Our store was the first to have a Jell-o Pudding Pop before the world ever heard of them.
