Located at 175 N. Maple. Home of the "Golden Chef" chinese restaurant for many years until a severe fire closed it permanently. The building, however, still stands. Recall dodging traffic crossing Maple to pick up some burgers while watching my dad's softball team play at Vet's Park in the 70's.

There was a second BC at 3325 Washtenaw. It was originally "Mister S Restaurant." Both this and 175 N. Maple were briefly Hardee's, but closed by 1988. As mentioned above, 175 N. Maple is now Golden Chef, while 3325 Washtenaw later became Stucchi's until the late 1990s. It spent most of the 2000s as a Boston Market and became a McDonald's in january 2009.
